To access this feature, users simply need to press the new “record” button located in the top-left corner of the call screen. Once activated, the system will inform all participants that the call will be recorded, ensuring that everyone is aware of the recording. The Phone app will then capture the entire conversation, automatically generating a transcription that is saved in the Notes app. Users can also access the complete audio recording and an AI-generated summary of the call in the same app.
Apple first teased this call recording feature at the Worldwide Developers Conference in June, and it’s exciting to see it finally come to fruition.
