According to reports, GPT-4 is far more powerful than GPT-3.5.
An executive at Microsoft has confirmed that the forthcoming GPT-4 will be vastly more powerful than its predecessor, GPT-3.5. The enhanced power will allow for new possibilities, such as creating videos.
It has been confirmed by Microsoft that GPT-4, a more powerful version of OpenAI’s AI engine, will soon be available. Since the launch of ChatGPT in 2022, various implementations of large language models have been developed. The new version of GPT is expected to create “completely different possibilities”, such as generating videos.
Andreas Braun, Chief Technology Officer at Microsoft Germany, announced the upcoming launch of GPT-4 at the AI in Focus — Digital Kickoff event.
As per Braun, the new version of GPT will be unveiled next week and will enable users to generate various types of AI-generated content.
The upcoming GPT-4 is expected to remove the text-based limitations of the current ChatGPT, enabling it to create multimodal content such as videos.
Microsoft and OpenAI have a strong partnership, with Microsoft using proprietary AI tech called Prometheus in addition to ChatGPT. The close relationship between the companies is exemplified by Microsoft Germany’s CTO Andreas Braun’s discussion of GPT-4’s imminent release. This partnership has already resulted in improvements to Microsoft’s Bing and Edge browsers.
