The K60 features a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 SoC, which is still a powerful processor but slightly slower than the Gen 2 SoC in the Pro model. It also has a slightly larger battery at 5,500mAh and supports 67W wired charging, though it still offers 30W wireless charging.
The Redmi K60 offers a high-quality camera setup, featuring a 64MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and 0.7-micron pixel size. It also has an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro lens for capturing various shots. On the front, you’ll find a 16MP selfie camera for all your self-portrait needs. In addition to its impressive camera capabilities, the K60 includes an in-display fingerprint sensor for added security and runs on MIUI 14 for a smooth and user-friendly experience. In terms of photography, the K60E boasts a 48MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and 0.8-micron pixel size, as well as an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro lens. The front of the device houses a 20MP selfie camera.
Other notable features of the K60E include a side fingerprint scanner, MIUI 14, and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity. While it may not offer the same high-end specs as the other models in the K60 series, the K60E still offers solid performance and features at a more budget-friendly price point.
Redmi K60 Series: Pricing and Availability
The Redmi K60 series is currently only available in China, with three different models to choose from. The Pro model starts at 3,299 yuan ($473 / Rs.40,000) for the base 8GB/128GB version, while the standard K60 starts at 2,499 yuan ($358 / Rs.30,000) for the 8GB/128GB model. The budget-friendly K60E starts at 2,199 yuan (~$315 / Rs.26,000) for the 8GB/128GB version.
All three models are available with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, though the K60E tops out at 12GB/512GB. It’s worth noting that these prices are only for the Chinese market at the moment, but it’s possible that one or more of these phones could be released in other regions in the future, possibly under a different brand name.
