You’ll be able to ditch all those extra devices soon! According to a recent WABetaInfo report, WhatsApp is set to introduce a convenient account-switching feature for Android users.
In the upcoming WhatsApp Beta for Android version 2.23.13.5, you’ll find a new bottom menu that enables you to add and seamlessly switch between different accounts.
To access multiple accounts, simply log in to your primary WhatsApp account and add additional accounts using the ‘Add account‘ option. Once logged in, you can easily switch between the accounts without being automatically logged out.
This feature is particularly useful for keeping personal and work conversations separate, allowing individual account privacy, notifications, and conversations all in one place. Although still in development, the multi-account login feature will be available to beta testers in the future and won’t be limited to business accounts.
Additionally, WhatsApp for Windows is receiving an update that includes a “Call back” feature for missed calls, making them more noticeable on the web version.
Stay tuned for further updates as official announcements are expected soon. Feel free to share your thoughts on these developments in the comments below.
