This trend is not limited to OnePlus alone, as other brands under the BBK Electronics umbrella like Oppo, Realme, and iQOO are expected to follow suit. According to the tipster, this standardization of 24GB RAM on smartphones implies that the base variant will feature 16GB of RAM by default.
With this revelation, we can anticipate the OnePlus 12, set to launch later this year, to be the first device sporting 24GB of RAM. Alongside a 6.7-inch QHD+ 120Hz OLED 2K Samsung curved display, the OnePlus 12 may boast the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
